Kendal Joy Dueck

Well, after a long wait, here she is! Kendal was born this afternoon at 1:45 and weighed a healthy 8lbs 4oz. Shelley did a great job and she and the baby are both doing fine.
Both of Kendal’s sisters were pretty thrilled to meet her and excitedly took turns ‘holding’ her. My first impression of this little girl is that she looks very much like Julie did as a baby (she sounds the same too!) although who can really tell at this early stage? Overall we are extremely grateful for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. If everything goes according to plan mother and daughter should both be home for Christmas!
