Well summer holidays have finally arrived so my already infrequent posting will be even more sporadic. We are heading down to Fresno for a family wedding and then spending time with family in Alberta (and hopefully attending a U20 World Cup game in Edmonton). I’ve decided (with the encouragement of others) to abstain from any kind of theological reading for the next month so I’m hoping to get into some historical fiction and maybe Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner on the 28 hour drive down to California. Happy July to all.

If you can, pick up a wonderful piece of fiction called “Hood” by Stephen Lawhead. It’s a retelling of the legend of Robin Hood, but without all the Disney in it. Enjoy Fresno
look forward to seeing you soon i hope
I’m reading Hood right now. It’s great.
I read Hood awhile ago and am awaiting the new book Scarlet. I think Byzantium is my favorite Lawhead so far. The Kite Runner is really good though. I am going to try and get into A Thousand Splendid Sunsets this weekend.
Have a great time in Fresno, I don’t envy the drive!!
And of course… HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!
