Welcome
20 June 2007 by Gil
So here we go with the new look. I’m wide open to feedback as long as it’s positive (in Michael Scott’s words, “constructive compliments”).
As a way of saying hello I thought I’d quote N.T. Wright’s reminder on the problems of seeing the afterlife alone as the point of salvation:
“If ’salvation’ means simply ‘leaving behind the world of space, time and matter’, then this is not really ’salvation’ from the ultimate enemy, death itself, which destroys God’s good creation, but colluding with it. “
You should have went with black - it’s better for intimidating your subordinates.
nice
Is the shiny lightbulb the one that represents you?
how nice…behind that exterior of hate of the new and flashy things, you are in fact chasing them….nice new look…whats next an ipod…ohh wait…
why is mike always so demeaning? doesn’t he know that even bible school teachers have feelings below that tough minivan exterior? how heartless.
Tough minivan exterior. Beautiful.
hey gil,
this is totally unrelated to your post… but i do like the new look and the new site. anyways, have you marked my paper yet? if so can i have it back or talk about with you? let me know!
I can no longer make fun of Gil for his minivan….for I now drive a Plymouth Neon…..
I feel vindicated Mike. Those who drive Plymouth Neons should not throw stones at Montana owners. I hope you’ve learned an important lesson here. Good thing you’re already engaged, I wouldn’t have liked your chances of finding lasting love driving one of those things.
Haha oh mercy! My dad even called it a chick car, and then when I pretended that I didn’t already know that, he tried to cover it up by saying that a ‘chick car’ is a car that gets you chicks! Ahahaha!
