I just about fell out of my chair when I heard the news! What an unbelievably STUPID decision! (I can’t help but remember that Calgary had the chance to hire Ted Nolan a few years back…)
My only consolation is that Keenan isn’t the GM. At least Sutter still has some power. This ought at least to mean that I won’t open the sports page in a few months to learn that Kiprusoff has been traded for Chris Gratton or something like that…
That picture says it all: sheer determination… to mess with as many players’ heads as he can.
(As a Canucks fan I lament with you and would never wish a Mike Keenan coaching tenure on anyone, except maybe the Leafs)

it is too bad that a good team with ability has to fall into the hands of a guy like him. You would think that people would learn from his train wreaks he has left behind him! I feel for the guys on the team like Iggy and Kipper, despite being a true Canucks fan and knowing this will help us!
