Go Sens Go

Like many Flame fans I am wondering about the identity of this ECHL team that has apparently stolen some authentic looking Flames jerseys and decided to try to impersonate an NHL team for the past two games. I’ve got my search narrowed down to either the Gwinnett Gladiators or the Penascola Ice Pilots. If these are the actual members of the Calgary Flames then the only answer is here.
In light of this trainwreck of a playoff experience I have decided to abandon ship and throw my support behind the Ottawa Senators, a team which has managed to do the apparently impossible and get more than 15 shots in a game. I don’t ask for much in terms of playoff performance. Just give me twenty shots and the impression that you’ve seen a pair of skates before.
I will be cheering for the Canucks. After living in Vancouver for awhile its hard to cheer for anyone else after seeing how much people here love their team. They are truly the best team in the NHL right now and probably the best Canadian team we have seen in the playoffs for years. TOWEL POWER!! GO CANUCKS GO!!!
Well, whoever rises to the top in this year’s playoffs, I just want to say that the more I watch the more I’m convinced of the unquestionable superiority of hockey, and Canadian culture in general. In fact, nothing could make me happier than to watch EVERY MINUTE of EVERY Canucks game (I’m especially fond of Trevor Linden) from here on in.
Finally, I’ve found something to abandon myself to until my first passion - CFL football - arrives in summer! Oh Canada…
Hey they won…the lingering hope now builds with possibilities in Gil’s mind, what if questions arise, there is a chance, its only 2-1…. join the Canucks man!
Who you cheering for today? Typical Flames fan.
Paul, Craig,
Any relationship involves trust. The first two games of this series were a complete betrayal and unfortunately trust takes time to rebuild. Game three was an apology and an admission of guilt. We’ll see if they really meant it in the games ahead.
