Many of you know of the tremendous challenge being faced by Dwayne Harms, a local pastor here in Saskatoon. Those of you with connections to Bethany will remember Dwayne as an occasional speaker in our chapels. For those of you who are hearing this name for the first time, Dwayne (37) has recently been diagnosed with advanced cancer of the kidney and liver. As you can imagine the prognosis is not encouraging. Dwayne is having surgery to remove one of his kidneys next Wednesday, August 3. He is asking for prayer so I would urge you all to do so. Please remember Dwayne’s wife Janet and their two young children. You can follow Dwayne’s journey in his own words at: http://dhjourney.blogspot.com/
